Tonight I’m doing Nights of Our Lives tonight at UCB Theater. If you’ve never been, it’s a monthly storytelling show hosted by the amazing David Martin. It’s probably my favorite show in New York to see/do. Tonight’s theme is “Guiltiest Night of My Life.”

Sadly, Nights of Our Lives is at the exact same time as Totally JK, which means I won’t be able to make it tonight. But, if you are in Brooklyn, you should still go. Noah is hosting solo (you know what that means…that’s right, lots of Holocaust jokes) and it’s a great line-up: Leo Allen, Roger Hailes, DC Pierson, and Sean O’Connor.

If you missed the Totally J/K Triumphant Return Show last week, just know that it was nuts. Todd Barry was there. Reggie Watts was there. Sarah Silverman even dropped by and did a set and it was free and you should have been there and oops you’re an idiot.

Don’t be an idiot twice! This week we have another spectacular show planned.

Ignore that Veteran’s Day hangover and come out! I want to say that there will be a special on Demetri Martinis tonight, but I know he’d hate that. Good thing I restrained myself.

Oh, also, in other news, TOTALLY J/K RETURNS TOMORROW NIGHT!

That’s right. After months of waiting, Totally JK is back. It will be every Wednesday night at 9:30pm at Sound Fix Records in Brooklyn. And before you say, “Wait, ehat? You moved your show to a record store in Brooklyn?”, let me just tell you, “Don’t be an asshole. Yes, it’s a record store. But it’s a record store with a huge room in the back with a bar, a stage, and chandeliers.”

Please come tomorrow night for our Triumphant Return Show. It will feature Todd Barry, Reggie Watts, Chris Gethard, and Gabe & Jenny. All for free. That’s amazing. Deal with it. Come. (And join our facebook group.)

I don’t know if you heard the sad news, but Rififi closed down for good last night. This obviously means that my show Totally J/K will be forced to go on a temporary hiatus until Noah and I find a proper replacement venue.

There had been rumors swirling for months saying Rififi was on the verge of closing down, but last night it finally happened. Last night was the last show at Rififi ever. You can see pictures of it here. It was nuts.

Rififi was a small, dark, often smelly place with bathrooms that probably gave you AIDS. It was also my favorite place to do comedy in NYC and I will miss it very much.

Swing by Rififi if you enjoy great comedy. We have Wyatt Cenac (Daily Show), Donald Glover (30 Rock writer), Leo Allen (Comedy Central), and Vince Averill (Comedy Central). Plus, Noah and I have fun stuff planned. And yes that mean’s I’ll be reading from Tommy Lee’s autobiography, Tommyland.

You got to love Animal Planet’s sassy new dog show commentator. (I can’t stop watching this video.)

Oh yeah? Well I think it’s funna be da English Foxhound, mark-ass trick.

I am performing my one-man (two-man, one-woman) show “Workdays with Maury” this Wednesday at the Upright Citizen’s Brigade Theater in New York City. It will be my final performance of July. And maybe ever. Who knows? You probably don’t want to miss it. I’m going to win an Oscar. If you’ve yet to see the show, it’s a lot like the movie Hancock, except it stars me playing myself when I used to work as an intern at the Maury Povich show.
